Our Terminals

POS consists of two fully functional terminals, the North Terminal and the South Terminal. The North Terminal was completed in 2001 and commissioned on 25 May 2002. This terminal is used for all commercial flights. After commercial flights shifted to the North Terminal in 2001, the Authority repurposed the South Terminal.

In keeping with the Strategic Land Use Plan, the South Terminal has been developed into a centre for air cargo operations and helicopter operations. It is also the location of the Executive Jet Centre that was opened in 2009 to accommodate visiting Heads of Government at the Fifth Summit of the Americas and the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting both of which took place in Trinidad and Tobago that year.
