International Air Transport Association Partners with
Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago to Train Aviation Professionals
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has executed an agreement to partner with Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago to offer training courses at the Authority’s Aviation Training Centre at Mausica.
The partnership agreement with IATA is significant, as this means that Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago has been accepted as a suitable partner, by three of the most recognized international organisations in the aviation industry: Airports Council International (ACI), International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and now IATA.
Chairman of the Board, Gerald Hadeed, assures that “the Authority has renewed its focus to create a performance driven workforce, develop human capacity by fostering a learning and growth environment and create new ways to earn more non-aeronautical revenue”.
IATA, the global trade association for the air transport sector, trains and equips aviation professionals with the necessary tools to stay relevant in the aviation industry. Qualified instructors will facilitate the following courses in 2012:-
